Project Tiger

Continuing its tradition of being forefront in conservation and protection Nasr Boys School adopted one year old “Vikas” the Royal Bengal tiger, at Nehru Zoological Park on Tuesday 13th January 2015.  School students held a Christmas carnival at School to raise funds for Project Tiger. Director Nasr Education Society Nawab Mir Kutubuddin Khan, Principal Mir Hafeezuddin Ahmed and Director Academics Mir Mohiuddin Mohammed officially adopted the Tiger and presented Zoo curator N Murthy with the resources required for adoption. 
Thirty five students from the Nature Club of the school were present along with the nature club teachers Ms. Farha Farkunda and Mrs Huma Syed. Later the students visited the tiger enclosure to see Vikas.
