The intention is to involve the public in the conservation process. Adoption automatically increases the interest of a person in an animal and that will hopefully increase people’s sensitivity towards them
A white Tiger Khavi about 2 and half years old was adopted by Nasr Boys School for one year on 20th February 2019 under Nasr Tiger Project 2019-2020.
A cheque of Rs. One lakh was handed over to the curator of Nehru Zoological Park Mrs. Kshitija IFS, by Secretary Nawab Mir Khutubuddin Khan, Chairperson Begum Anees Khan, along with Mir Jamaluddin Hammad Director Finance NES and Mir Hafeezuddin Ahmed Principal Nasr Boys School was also present on the occasion.
About 100 students from classes 3-8 of all clubs were also present.
