Christmas Celebration 2017
21.12.2017

‘Festivals are a means of creating brotherhood with one another’.

Nasr Boys School, continuing its secular tradition, celebrates all major festivals to inculcate the feeling of oneness in the students making them realize that all religions are the same and speak of peace, tolerance and brotherhood.

Christmas celebration at Nasr was a merry and gay affair. The school was decorated with mistletoe, stars, bells and festive banners. A huge Christmas tree sparkled in the morning light and heaps of gifts beckoned all. The festivities also included a lot of competitions like card making, hat making, candle decoration, table arrangement, embroidering a handkerchief and gift wrapping. The classes were decorated and every class had a secret Santa Claus. The students presented warm clothing in heaps which was presented to an orphanage. This gesture of giving created a sense of sharing and helping the less privileged.
