INVESTITURE AND AWARDS CEREMOMY
The 19th Investiture and awards Ceremony was celebrated at Nasr boys school on the 22nd of July 2017. The Chief Guest Smt . Tejdeep Kaur Menon ,IPS ,Director General of Police ,Telangana State ,Special Protection Force , decorated the Captains and Prefects with their badges and administered the oath to the newly appointed Student council for the year 2017-2018. Smt . Tejdeep Kaur Menon ,IPS, one of the first students of Nasr school,expressed her nostalgic feelings about Nasr school in her yesteryears .She motivated the students on life skills and values to adhere to as a student.
The School Captain Master Abishek Kota delivered the welcome speech. With the advent of monsoon the sapling Plantation emphasized the Vanmahotsav celebration. The Chief Guest Smt. Tejdeep Kaur Menon IPS, planted a Gulmohar sapling in the school premises to mark the event.
The parade comprised the students council,NCC Contingent and the horse riders .The Chief guest Smt, Tejdeep Kaur Menon ,IPS , took the Salute at the dais given by the parade.
The Secretary ,Nasr Education Society, Nawab Mir Khutubuddin Khan adorned the Gold Medal to the ICSE Topper 2016 Master Navneeth Vislawat who scored an aggregate of 96.4% in the examination. The medal is sponsored by Chairperson Nasr Education Society , Begum Anees Khan in memory of her late husband Nawab Mir Muzaffar Hussain Khan.
The Chief Guest Smt .Tejdeep Kaur Menon ,IPS, Director General of Police, felicitated the ICSE toppers in various subjects Master Mohammed Abdul Hadi secured 100% in Social Studies and Master Syed Mohammed Yasin scored 99% in Environmetal Applications .The Mementoes were sponsored by the Director Academics Mir Mohiuddin Mohammed, Director Finance Mir Jamaluddin Hammed, Principal Mir Hafeezuddin Ahmed, Headmaster Mr. Reniv Thomas, Headmistress Mrs. Ayesha Fatima , the Departments of Social Studies and Languages.
The Nasr school Pre-primary students presented a group dance depicting the vanamahotsav and its significance. The tiny tots presented the planting song showcasing the hardworking farmers who toil the whole year long to bring us bountiful produce.
The high school students presented a mime show on literacy.
The meritorious students of high school and primary section were awarded mementoes.
The Nasr boys who visited NASA Huntsville Camp at the U.S Space and Rocket Centre this year were also felicitated with the Outstanding Team Mission Badge by the Chief Guest Smt. TejdeepKaur Menon, IPS, Director General of Police ,Telangana state.
The programme ended by the Vote of thanks delivered by the School Vice Captain Habeeb Abdallah Al Aidroos,
followed by the Vande mataram and National Anthem.v
