‘Festivals are a means of creating brotherhood amongst people.’
Nasr Boys School, continuing its secular tradition celebrates all major festivals, in the belief that students gain knowledge and understanding of all system of beliefs, ultimately realising that all religions are the same and speak of peace, tolerance and brotherhood.
Christmas celebration at Nasr was a merry and gay affair. The school was decorated with Mistletoe, stars, bells and festive banners. A huge Christmas tree sparkled in the morning light and the heaps of gifts beckoned all. The festivities also included a host of competitions like the vegetable carving, cake decorations, and table settings. Students from class I to X participated enthusiastically.
The chief guest for the occasion was Mr. T. Joseph Christadoss, head of Department, Mass Communication.
