Social Studies Activity

Class V students were engaged in the Social studies activity to get hands on experience about the weather and climate. They were guided to prepare a weather cock, wind mill and colorful pin wheels.They gained knowledge about how windmills are useful in the past for grinding the coin or drawing water from the wells. They also understood that they are good in generating power in a natural way.
They understood how the weather is decided with the help of a weather cock and the direction of the wind with the pin wheels. It was a very interesting activity for all of them.
