Recitation Competition

On the Wings of Poesy – an intra-class poetry recitation competition was held on 28th February at Nasr Boys School for the students of Classes I-V.
The students got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The children came up with different poems and recited them with great zeal and enthusiasm.
In the competition the students had to excel in reciting the poetry with control in voice modulation, expressions and other criteria.
The Principal Mir Hafeezuddin Ahmed appreciated the efforts put in by the students and gave away the prizes.
Among the winners were Master Ishaan Reddy of Class IV who recited the poem ‘Where the mind is without fear’, Sarmad Ahmad of Class V with the poem ‘The Quality of Mercy’ and Farhan Ibrahim Shaik of Class V with the poem ‘Captain O Captain.’
