CISCE Regional Sports Meet
The GMC Balayogi International Stadium in Gachibowli energized with the spirits soaring high to commence the CISCE regional sports meet for the year 2019-2020.
We were gratified with the outstanding achievements in different arenas by Nasr Boys school.The March Past demonstrated by Nasr Boys was rhythmic and was applauded with excitement by the audience. There was a special mention by the Chief Guest Deputy Commissioner of Police, appreciating the March past performed by our school.
Nasr Boys School was proclaimed the second best contingent and was awarded the trophy.
Adding another feather to the cap Nasr Boys school Band ensemble was cherished and rewarded an APPRECIATION PRIZE.
The major sporting events where Nasr boys made a place for themselves were Lawn Tennis, Badminton, Table Tennis, Swimming, Hockey , Chess & Football .
Master Paricherla Danush Varma secured the first place in Lawn Tennis in the under 17 category.
Master Murali Koushal Ratanala secured 2ND PLACE IN LAWN TENNIS in the under 14 category.
Master J Showrya Kiran secured 1ST PLACE IN BADMINTON in under 14 category.
Master Omar Manzoor Khan secured 1st PLACE IN TABLE TENNIS in under 14 category.
It was indeed a proud moment when Master Mohammed Kamilluddin Shams won 4 prizes and made a hat-trick by securing 2nd PLACE IN 100 AND 200 MTS FREE STYLE SWIMMING competition. He also secured 1st place in 200 mts IM , 4x100 mts and 100mts BACK STROKE feat in swimming.
Nasr Boys placed themselves in high esteem by qualifying for the ICSE Nationals.
Master Mohammed Omair Hashmi and Master Mohammed Ashhad were selected for HOCKEY .Master Venumala Maurya for CHESS ,Master Showrya Kiran for BADMINTON , Master Saif Ali Khan for FOOTBALL, Master Murali Koushal Ratanala and Master Pericherla Danush Varma for LAWN TENNIS, Master Omar Manzoor Khan for TABLE TENNIS , Master Bhavik Kaushik and Master Mohana Srikar Naidu for SWIMMING.
Nasr School feels proud to see the students stand on a platform to take a flight in the sports field and bring laurels to the schools. A champion needs a motivation above and beyond winning.
